The City of Modesto offers its businesses and
residents a safe and convenient way to recycle their cathode ray tubes
(CRT's). CRT's are found in televisions, computer monitors and some
camcorders. Due to the high lead content in the glass, CRT's can no longer
be put in landfills and must be recycled. Residents my recycle 2 CRT's per calendar year and
businesses can recycle 4 CRT's per calendar year.
